With coconut oil being a go-to for just about anything these days, we wanted to explore one of the components of the ever-so-popular coconut oil: MCT oil.

  • MCT oil is derived from coconut oil.
  • It looks very similar to coconut oil, but the consistency of it is thinner – more like a traditional oil.
  • MCT oil is generally composed of the C8 and C10 medium-chain triglycerides.
  • Although MCT oil is man-made in the sense that it’s extracted manually, it’s a pure oil overall.

Capsicum Oleoresin

Due to its analgesic properties, capsicum oleoresin is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains of muscles and joints as an active ingredient in topical OTC preparations and has been studied for the management of different models of neuropathic pain.

Comfrey oil

It has the ability to treat bruises, sprains, pulled muscles, and other tissue damage.

Soothe Menstrual Pain

Poko commits to sustainable production and natural ingredients. Their Warming Balm has been specifically formulated to target pain and help soothe the body. Including the ability to calm the painful cramps and bloating associated with menstruation. This Recovery Warming Walm by PokoCBD can offer real comfort when cramps are at their worst.

The uterus tenses and contracts in order for the womb to shed the lining, these pains can be referred to as ‘period cramps’. These can be similar to pregnancy contractions. Women often use hot water bottles or heat packs to help soothe and ease these contractions. This CBD Warming Balm works in much the same way. CBD helps to soothe inflammation, while the exothermic ingredients, capsicum oleoresin and comfrey oil, offer heat to help relieve tension.

When using this balm to soothe menstrual cramps, feel free to use plenty of it. Apply this balm up to 3 times daily and massage the balm deeply onto the affected area. The act of kneading and massaging the lower stomach and back will also help to soothe these contracted muscles. It will also help to encourage the process of menstruation in the womb. Avoid eyes, nose and mouth area.
