The eagerly-awaited Spannabis trade show in Barcelona has been given added heft with the news that the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) will take place during the event.
A talk on CBD will kickstart a diverse agenda at the large-scale Spanish event.
The 16th annual Spannabis runs from the 15th-17th March and the presence of the ICBC, debuting its trademark blend of politics, business and culture greatly adds to the weekend’s experience for audience and exhibitors alike.
As well as the informational aspect to the ICBC’s presence, networking opportunities will abound at the Auditori de Cornellà with an after-party at the iconic Hotel W, hosted by the great Damian “Jr. Gong†Marley, the youngest son of reggae musical legend Bob Marley.
The amalgam of the world’s largest international cannabis business conference with Europe’s biggest cannabis expo makes the event essential to everyone involved in the CBD supply chain.
“Spannabis organisers believe that the time is right to offer reliable information on the economic potential of the cannabis sector and the viability that Spain would have to become one of the key countries in Europe,†stated Carlos Yerbes Gonzalez, co-director of Spannabis.
“We needed to collaborate with a leading company in the cannabis business sector, with experience also in Europe, and ICBC has all the knowledge to be able to make such an event in Spain. We have no doubt that our combined event will be a success and many of our attendees will be grateful to have a B2B event of this quality.â€
Although primarily a consumer event up until now, the presence of ICBC shows the event’s organisers have recognised the emergence of the show as a forum for those in the business to make connections and grow the industry further.
“The ICBC’s partnership with Spannabis fills this gap and satisfies a clear need for major cannabis industry players to meet, network, to progress and advance the industry as cannabis laws are liberalised in Spain and across the continent,†stated Alex Rogers, Executive Producer of the International Cannabis Business Conference.
Panel presentations at ICBC Barcelona will include: Investment and Capital Markets, International Investing, Cannabis Social Clubs, Medical Cannabis in Spain, International Regulatory Overview, Mainstreaming of CBD, Cannabis Extracts, Strategic Partnerships, and an interview with reggae star Damian Marley.
CBD Village will be present at this year’s event. If there is any particular areas you would like us to cover, let us know, and we’ll do our best to get the nitty-gritty from the foremost minds in the industry.
Among the UK-based exhibitors at the event are Easy Grow, Growth Technology, Bulkseed Bank, Lumatek and Hydrogarden.
Of particular interest to us will be the Blooming CBD discussion on Friday 15th March. There will also be an interesting agenda on cuisine and regulation. See you there!
Recently the UK played host to a landmark event. Birmingham hosted the UK’s very first Hemp and CBD Expo at the NEC and CBD Village went to investigate. Check out the video below.
