CannaTrade 2019 is one of Europe’s biggest hemp expos. A landmark event for the CBD world. Featuring a huge range of exhibitions, a chill out area, business lounge and afterparty, this year’s Canna Trade conference was a sight to behold.
The event was jam packed with amazing demonstrations and incredible products, here’s a run down of some of the best things we came across.
The cannabis industry is relatively new and growing, and that means there’s no better time than now to address the issue of diversity. Already there is evidence of a growing disparity between the leadership roles between the genders. This panel discussed these issues and how they specifically relate to the hemp, cannabis, and CBD industry.
The real star of the show was without a doubt the fantastic range of CBD products. The CBD industry is new and growing rapidly. This means that day by day, more and more unique and innovative products are hitting the market. It can be hard to keep up, that’s why expos like CannaTrade are so important, they allow the industry to take stock of itself.
CBD oils are one of the most popular products in the industry. It seems that nearly every company has some form of oil in its inventory. This year, however, a brand that stood out from the rest was Starbuds. Having made their mark on the industry in 2015 when they were awarded the High Times Cannabis Cup for best sativa, Starbuds have gone from strength to strength.
This year, their full-spectrum CBD oils are an incredible addition to the market. Not only does this oil contain a CBD concentration of 14%, it also features a range of other beneficial vitamins and terpenes, making it a veritable super-supplement. Cleick here for CBD oil UK reviews.
While we are often more familiar with CBD in tincture form, many people are opting to consume by smoking or vaping CBD. This method is undeniably faster acting and for many people a more familiar method of consumption. While many companies, such as CBD Flowers, are focusing on hand rolled joints some companies have opted for more normalised ways of enjoying hemp. Swiss companies, Arthur and Swiss Queen, have both launched a line of CBD cigarettes.
The packs are on sale alongside cigarettes and cigars at shop tills everywhere – only very small amounts of THC and a high proportion of CBD are in the mix. We had to try. The natural tobacco-and-hemp blend develops a bouquet of mild, sweet and spicy aromas when smoked, exuding the unmistakable scent of cannabis. And all this of course with no additives whatsoever – we were intrigued.
Vaping is rapidly taking over from tobacco products, allowing users to cut the tars and toxins associated with cigarettes out of their life quickly and easily. Of course while Arthur’s are offering a selection of CBD cigarettes, other companies are offering CBD vape juice. These juices work with normal vaporizers and allow users to enjoy the benefits of CBD without risking their health.
There are cannabinoid receptors throughout the human body, even in the digestive system. This is how CBD oils and tinctures traditionally enter your body, and if it works for them it’ll work for tea too. Green Passion are pioneering and range of CBD-rich hemp teabags. These come in two separate strains; Eurobud, that has 6% CBD, and the more potent Green Hulk, which has 23% CBD.
Feast your eyes – we’ll take you there.
